Leicester City vs Arsenal Preview

High flying Leicester host Arsenal in a game that is sure to be a high tempo, exciting clash. Claudio Ranieri's team has been exceeding all expectations in the league so far and with Wenger's men having a mixed season so far, this is a crucial game for Arsenal.

Leicester v Arsenal
Ranieri has continued where Nigel Pearson left off last season at Leicester and they are currently the only team in the league who are unbeaten and sit fourth in the table, one spot ahead of their opponents on Saturday. Leicester have been the most entertaining team of the league so far with their high tempo game and quick counter attacks. The Foxes have also shown remarkable will power on multiple occasions, having come from  two goals behind to get points in their last two league games.

Leicester followed that up with a win against West Ham in the league cup and they will be no short of confidence when they face Arsenal on Saturday. They have a lot of pace in their team and with the likes of Mahrez's and Vardy's directness, they can currently outscore any team in the league. Leicester City will be without Nathan Dyer who misses out through injury.

Arsenal have not got going in the league so far. They looked like getting back to their best after their win over Stoke but consecutive defeats against Zagreb and Chelsea have sapped up the momentum. The mid week win over rivals Tottenham will have been a boost to them and they will need to follow that up with a victory on Saturday to get some confidence back. Arsenal have been woeful in front of goal and have scored only five times in six league games so far despite creating the most number of chances in the league.

Arsenal will most likely be without Coquelin and that will be a huge concern, especially when playing a counter attacking team like Leicester. Man of the match against Tottenham, Flamini will most likely replace Coquelin. Gabriel will be back after his red card was overturned and that will be welcome news to the fans. The form of Sanchez, Giroud and Walcott will be a concern for Wenger.

Ranieri has been full of praise for this Arsenal team and rightly so because of the quality in their side but on the pitch Leicester looks like the better team. Arsenal has been struggling to score all season and they are likely to be caught out a couple of times by this Leicester side.

Predicted score : Leicester City 1-1 Arsenal
