Phillipe Coutinho is one of the most prominent players for Liverpool this season. He started the season with a wonder goal against Stoke City and managed to score three goals in his last four games for the Merseyside club. Coutinho has been quite consistent for Liverpool ever since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp.
Coutinho was named the man of the match for his stellar performance against Manchester City on Saturday. He scored a goal and assisted another in Liverpool’s 4-1 win at Etihad stadium.
Liverpool fans celebrations were short lived after seeing Coutinho limping off the field in the second half of the match.
Klopp stated to the reporters that: "I hope [he] is well enough.
"He showed not a real [injury], it was a little bit of cramp, he felt something.
"I hope that's all, he will be very important for us, everybody can see he's in really good shape in this moment. I hope he can react well enough."
