1. Thierry Henry
Henry signed for Arsenal in 1999 from Juventus for £11 million. Henry failed to impress the Italian club and scored just 3 goals in 16 games. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had already managed Henry at French club AS Monaco and was aware of his capabilities.

It was at Arsenal that the French striker made his name as a world-class footballer. Henry scored a record
228 goals in 377 appearances for the London club before signing for Barcelona in 2007.

A bronze statue of Henry was also unveiled at the Emirates Stadium on the club's 125th anniversary.
