Weekend's EPL predictions

The Premier league season is really tight this season with just two points separating the top four with fourteen games played. Each game week is going to be crucial now and every team will be looking to get the maximum points in this festive period. We look at the weekend's fixtures and predict the results of all the matches.

1 Stoke City vs Manchester City.

Sergio Agüero, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne
Manchester City has been in ominous form lately and with David Silva back from his injury, they look a good bet even with an away trip to Stoke in front of them. It won't be an easy game for sure but Manchester City will be able to get all three points

Prediction: Stoke City 1-2 Manchester City

2 Manchester United vs West Ham United

Manchester United have been grinding out results even when they haven't been playing well but their slow tempo style of play might get undone by a pacy West Ham side. But the Hammers are without Payet and Sakho and their absence could prove costly

Prediction: Manchester United 1-0 West Ham United

3 Watford vs Norwich City

It is a clash between the promoted sides and both teams will want to win this. Norwich got a draw against Arsenal last week and they looked good in that game but they might just come up short against Watford.

Prediction: Watford 2-0 Norwich

4 Southampton vs Aston Villa

Southampton got a mauling at the hands of Liverpool in the mid week fixture and would want to get a win badly in this game. They couldn't ask for an easier game than against Aston Villa. Morale will be low on Southampton's camp but they still are good enough to beat this Villa side

Prediction: Southampton 3 - 1 Aston Villa

5 Arsenal vs Sunderland

Arsenal have plenty of injuries and no wins from their last three league games. This is a must game win for Arsenal. Sunderland have improved under Allardyce but Arsenal will have too much quality for them despite their injuries.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland

6 Swansea City vs Leicester City

Swansea are winless in their last four league games and are facing high flying Leicester. All eyes will be on Vardy again to see if he can extend his scoring run. Leicester's and Vardy's run has to come to an end some time and it could be this game. Swansea are not in their best form but can give Leicester a run for their money.

Prediction: Swansea 2-2 Leicester City

7 West Brom vs Tottenham

Tottenham has been the most consistent team in the league so far and there is no reason to think that they will not win against the Baggies this weekend. Expect Kane to add more to his tally as well.

Prediction: West Brom 0-2 Tottenham

8 Chelsea vs Bournemouth

Bournemouth has played really well lately but have not been able to win games. This game will be a really tough challenge for Eddie Howe. Chelsea are a vulnerable side at the moment and if Bournemouth can get an early goal, they can fancy themselves to get something from the game

Prediction: Chelsea 2-2 Bournemouth

9 Newcastle vs Liverpool

Liverpool are expected to win against Newcastle. Liverpool have completely transformed under Klopp and are the in form team in the league now. Newcastle have been struggling all season and they will have to do well to avoid a defeat.

Prediction: Newcastle 0-4 Liverpool

10 Everton vs Crystal Palace

This will be one of the most exciting games of the weekend as two teams who have been playing some good football face off. Expect to see lots of pacey attacks and goals.

Prediction: Everton 2-2 Crystal Palace
