It seems Juventus striker Alvaro Morata is a player Liverpool is very much interested in. The former Real Madrid striker who signed for Juventus in 2014 is currently unhappy with his situation at the Italian club. Apparently, Morata has lost his place in the starting eleven to new signing Dybala.
Liverpool are now trying to take advantage of the situation with respect to Morata. It seems the Reds had made a bid in the region of around £45 million. However, Juventus have rejected the bid made by Liverpool. But now it seems, Liverpool would have to take a swift action on the striker with Manchester United also in the picture.
The Reds have struggled in the striking department and were formerly linked with Brazilian Pato. However, sources state that Pato prefers a move to Chelsea. Morata has been instrumental for Juventus with the striker playing an important part in their run to the Champions League final last year. He would certainly be a great addition to the club who have been struggling to find the back of the net off late.
However, Liverpool would have also have to face another obstacle in their pursuit of Morata since Real Madrid have a buy back clause on their former striker.
