Chelsea midfielder Pedro has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge this season. The Chelsea signing was outstanding in his debut against West Brom. However, since then he has never been able to replicate that performance in the rest of the campaign.
It seems that the former Barcelona winger has been left disillusioned about his future at the club from a long term point of view. The Blues have experienced a turbulent campaign this season, with their most successful manager Mourinho also being sacked.
The injury to Hazard had provided Pedro with the perfect opportunity to prove himself. However, the performances have been uninspiring to say the least.
It seems now that his former club Barcelona are keen to bring the Spain International back to the club. Barcelona have stalled on their negotiations pertinent to Celta Vigo attacker Nolito and it seems to be an indication by the Catalan club to bring back their former winger.
However, it remains highly unlikely that Pedro would take the drastic action of going back to Spain so soon after joining the English champions.
