It seems that Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is an
unhappy man at the club. The reason being reported is the clubs' chairman
Rummenigge who apparently recently expressed interest in Napoli striker Gonzalo
Higuain.

Lewandowski is certainly not ready to share the stage with
another star striker and is apparently angered by the actions of Rummenigge. It
has been reported that Real Madrid have upped their interest in the Polish
international in the current transfer window because of their recent transfer
ban. Rummenigge then stated that Higuain is a player that they like which has
irritated the former Dortmund striker.
In reply to Rummenigge's statement, his agent replied with
an analogy that someone who has a beautiful girlfriend should not look at
another girl. Lewandowski has been in spectacular form this season and it is no
surprise that he wants to remain the top dog of the club. However, the recent
happenings could shape the future of both the club and the forward.
With just some days left for the transfer window to close,
the deal with respect to both the players may still be difficult to be
completed. However, stranger things have happened in the January transfer window
with the pick being the move of Torres to Chelsea 2011 after the Spaniard
handed a transfer request.
