Freddie Ljungberg is certainly a household name when it comes to Arsenal. The former Sweden International was part of the famous Invincibles squad in 2003-04 and had a glittering career with the Gunners. The Swede made around 300 appearances for the North London outfit from 1998 to 2007.

Now, Ljungberg would be making a return to his former club in a coaching role. Wenger has confirmed that the former Arsenal winger would be coaching the under-15 squad and it is associated with Ljungberg acquiring his coaching licence.

Ljungberg himself is also excited about making his development as a coach in one of his former clubs where he enjoyed a stellar career.

Although it won’t be a prominent role, it would be great for Arsenal fans as well as the squad to have a former great at the club among their midst.

Wenger would also welcome his addition given the fact that this time around Arsenal are currently one of the favorites for the title and Ljungberg was part of the Arsenal team that last won the Premier league 12 years ago.
