It has been apparent according to recent reports that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is very much interested in Italy manager Antonio Conte and wants him to take over as Chelsea boss from Guus Hiddink.

Antonio Conte reportedly wants to sign Paul Pogba if he becomes Chelsea boss
According to reports, the current Italy manager has been in talks with the Chelsea management since Christmas. It seems that if Conte does get the job at Chelsea, his first priority would be the signing of his former player Paul Pogba. Conte has managed Pogba when he was at Juventus and has seen the midfielder develop into a world class player up close.

The former Manchester United midfielder has been on the radar of several European giants and it seems that the appointment of his former manager may lure the Frenchman to Stamford Bridge. It is widely expected that the Italian manager will join the Premier league champions after Euro 2016.

It is not a surprise that Conte would select the Juventus midfielder as his top summer signing. The arrival of Pogba would certainly strengthen the Chelsea midfield and it would be a statement of intent from the Blues.

However, the French midfielder would certainly not come for cheap. It is expected that a transfer fee of around £70 million would be required to lure the Frenchman from Juventus.
