Courtois to leave Chelsea at the end of the season?

Chelsea have certainly endured a turbulent campaign and have only slightly recovered under Interim manager Guus Hiddink this season.

Thibaut Courtois could push for a shock move away from Chelsea in the summer.
It seems that their terrible season would have its first issue in the form of their star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian goalkeeper is not happy with the way things have unfolded at Stamford Bridge and may be open to a move if the Premier league champions have a trophy less season.

Chelsea are out already out of the title race with only the Champions league and the FA Cup to play for. Courtois was out for some time earlier in the campaign but has been in good form after coming back to the side.

The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper has been tracked by various European clubs due to his impressive performances at Stamford Bridge.

However, if the Blues indeed let go off their highly rated goalkeeper, the amount of money that they would demand would be in the range of around £70 million. It seems that Real Madrid, who wanted De Gea last summer, are tracking Courtois very closely.

The 23 year old has around three years left on his contract and Chelsea certainly considers him as one for the future.

The Blues even let go club legend Petr Cech to Arsenal in order to keep Courtois at the Bridge and hence it would it would take a ludicrous bid to prize him away from West London.
