Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham side have certainly taken the Premier league by storm. The fact that Tottenham will surely have a place in the Champions League spot this season, itself is an achievement for the north London club.
However, the fact that Tottenham can actually win the Premier league for the first time since 1961 is something even the most ardent Tottenham supporters would not have dreamt of at the start of the season. Their latest victory against Manchester City was certainly a statement of intent and have lifted the team to second place in the Premier league standings ahead of their arch rivals Arsenal on goal difference.
It seems that their star midfielder Christian Eriksen, who recently celebrated his 24th birthday with the winner against City, believes that Tottenham can continue their fine form in all the three competitions that they are currently participating in.
The North London club would now have to focus on their Europa League and FA cup commitments before playing their next Premier league match and it seems that the Belgian midfielder is quite confident of the strength of the Tottenham squad.
