The Chinese Super League have outspent even the Premier league in terms of transfer fees in the current transfer window.

Robin van Persie admits unhappiness after continually being substituted by Fenerbahce
It seems that the Chinese are willing to do even more business with their transfer window coming to a close in the next few days. It has been reported that Shanghai Shenhua are interested in former Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie. Van Persie is currently plying his trade in Turkey with Fenerbahce.

The Dutch International moved to Turkey in the summer of 2015 after spending three years with United since he was not going to be a  part of his compatriot LVG's plans.

The forward had lost his form after United's last title winning campaign under Sir Alex Ferguson. However, the forward has not been happy with his life in Istanbul and may be eager for a change.

It seems that the Chinese Super League club is willing to offer around €25 million for the Dutch forward but it remains to be seen whether Van Persie would be interested to move to China at this stage of his career.

Shanghai Shenhua are very much keen for the deal to happen after releasing former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill earlier in the week.
