It seems Columbian winger Juan Cuadrado would be extending his stay with Juventus. The Chelsea winger who is currently on loan in Turin, has impressed the Juventus management with his impressive performances this season.
Juventus chief Marotta believes that they can strike a deal in the coming months with Chelsea regarding the transfer of the former Fiorentina winger.
Cuadrado has been in good form for the Italian club with the player being at his best in the recent game against Genoa. The winger was recently being linked with the likes of Barcelona. However, it seems the player himself is interested to stay with Juventus.
Cuadrado made his name with another Serie A club, Fiorentina, which earned him a move to Premier league champions Chelsea last January.
However, he found it hard to get any playing time under the then Chelsea manager Mourinho and was not able to adjust to the physicality of the Premier league.
He then moved to Juventus on loan in the summer and has thrived under familiar Italian surroundings. With the player and the club both interested, it seems only a matter of time that the Italian club would strike a deal with the Blues. It seems that there has been a verbal agreement between the clubs but the deal failed to materialize in January.
