Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is reportedly very much tracked by League Cup champions Manchester City.
There have been reports that Gundogan, who has been contracted to Dortmund till the summer of 2017, has denied the renewal of his contract with his current club. It seems as a result, Dortmund do not want to lose their star midfielder for free next summer and are interested in selling the German this summer itself.
Manchester City, looking to take advantage of the situation, are reported to be widely interested in landing the German midfielder to the Etihad and it seems that Gundogan would also be equally willing to play under their next manager Pep Guardiola.
Although City are considered favourites for the signature of the 25 year old, Gundogan has also been heavily linked with the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona and Juventus.
Gundogan had been troubled with various injuries in his career but has been showing good form for Dortmund this season under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
