Players who regret leaving Liverpool - 2

2. Fernando Torres

It does not take much time to become a laughing stock from a legend. The biggest embodiment of that fact is Fernando Torres. Having signed by Benitez in the year 2007, Liverpool had found their hero.

Fernando Torres
Torres was the most prolific foreign goal scorer in his debut season having beaten the record of Ruud Van Nistelrooy. After three and a half successful seasons with the club, he finally left Anfield for so called greener pastures and joined Chelsea for a mammoth £50 million.

He may have won the Champions league and Europa League in his time at Stamford Bridge, but he always missed the adulation he got from the Kop and never found his brilliant form after leaving the Reds.
