4. Jerzy Dudek
Signed in the year 2001, Dudek became Gerard Houllier's number one goalkeeper. In his six seasons at the club, Dudek best moment came in the famous Champions league win over AC Milan in 2005 wherein he saved Shevchenko's and Pirlo's penalty in the shootout.
He was also one of the nominees for the UEFA goalkeeper of the year in his time at the club. However, the arrival of Pepe Reina restricted his appearances and he left for Madrid in 2007 where he was able to make only two appearances in four seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu.
