5. Peter Crouch
Having joined the club in 2005, Peter Crouch took some time to score his first goal for the club. But once he picked up his form, Crouch went on to score many important goals for the club.
His goal against Manchester United which earned Liverpool their first win against their arch rivals since World War 2 and his perfect hat-trick against Arsenal in the league are some of Crouch's famous moments. However, the tall striker departed for Portsmouth in 2008 and was never able to capture the same form he displayed at Anfield.
