Spanish striker Jose Antonio Reyes joined the Gunners in 2004. He enjoyed a blistering start to his Arsenal career, but it didn’t last.
Paul Scholes made a horrific tackle on the Spaniard striker during a FA Cup game, and Reyes took a long time to recover.
By the time he got back to the pitch, he had already lost his place in the starting XI. Reyes was eventually loaned out to Real Madrid and was sold to Atletico Madrid in 2007.
