According to some reports, Chelsea are planning to place a £20m bid for Ghana international and FC Augsburg's full-back Baba Rahman.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly contacted Ghana International coach and former Chelsea boss Avram Grant about the 20-year-old left back. Mourinho has been impressed enough with Rahman's performances for Augsburg in the German top flight this season.
If rumours are to be believed, Chelsea are ready to make a bid for Rahman.
Chelsea signed Spanish left-back Filipe Luis last summer for £15.8 million from Atletico Madrid, but the move has not worked out well for the Brazilian. The club wants to add some competition for that position. Baba will have to play second fiddle to Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta.
