3. Lack of Managerial Stability
Say what you like about Arsene Wenger, and many people will, but he has managed success over 19 years. While Arsenal have had a well-documented trophy drought which was ended last season, Spurs' lack of stability has been a constant thorn in their side over the years.
Since Arsene Wenger took over at Arsenal he has seen off a host of challengers from Tottenham. Christian Gross, George Graham, Glenn Hoddle, Jacques Santini, Martin Jol, Juande Ramos, Harry Redknapp, André Villas-Boas, Tim Sherwood and Mauricio Pochettino have all come and had a go - but none have been able to overtake Arsene.
Too quick to change tact, Harry Redknapp did a terrific job at White Hart Lane but was treated awfully by the club. Until they give someone time, they'll never improve.
